Combined capability, a shared story and a single purpose

Our Story

Quality professional coach training has a knock-on effect; the coach becomes more self-aware just by learning the skills. It becomes obvious the impact we have on others; how they think and feel while we are with them and long after the interaction. From our training, our work and our organisational leadership experience, we understand that one poor interaction can disrupt a day or a team. Equally, a person who understands this impact, can change the dynamic in the room for the better.

We got curious about how to build the listening muscle that's at the heart of coaching. Imagine if every team had one person who could shift the thinking space in a more productive way. What if we could shift the balance to an incremental improvement of really hearing each other by 10 or 20%? So, we created Listening Lab, designed to build this muscle and training to sustain it.

Listening can be counter-intuitive for individuals and businesses: many believe we add value through what we say and our ability to have the answers. Yet listening is the key to effective leadership, client relationships, innovation and inclusion. Listening underpins psychological safety and enables candid, real and productive conversations.

We believe we need to over-ride automatic urges like muscle memory and create ways every day to flex this capability until it becomes just the way we work. Ultimately, listening is about having both the humility and the confidence to unlock value in others.

To imagine room by room transitions, we need to deliver organisation by organisation solutions. Our partnership was a clear next step, Think Perspective was born in 2021.
  • Two professional listeners. One single purpose: to democratise listening skills in service of improving human interactions and business effectiveness.

Together, we fuse over 40 years' combined global corporate experience in culture change, transformation, organisational development, leadership development, business strategy, learning and development and innovation. We're accredited coaches, learning designers, facilitators and consultants.

Think Perspective was born from our shared belief that enabling a listening culture addresses the most significant business challenges the world over. From inclusion to innovation, psychological safety to performance management, listening is the key to unlocking better quality interactions everyday.
